Dogs: For the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis (OA)

Cats: For the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery, ovariohysterectomy and castration when administered prior to surgery

Available in both 10 mL and economical 20 mL bottles

In dogs: Administered initially as a single dose at 0.09mg/lb body weight IV or SQ; followed after 24 hours by Loxicom (meloxicam) Oral Suspension

In cats: Administered as a single, one-time, SQ dose at 0.14 mg/lb body weight. NOTE: Use of ADDITIONAL meloxicam or other NSAIDS in Cats is contraindicated. To ensure accuracy of dosing, the use of a 1 mL graduated syringe is recommended.
